Today we begin our unit on the United States Constitution.   Please ask your child to tell you one fact that they learned at school today.

Reminder:  Parent Teacher Conferences will be on November 17th.

Today in Math we are learning about clocks and time.  We talked about Central, Pacific and Eastern time.

Today our class went on a field trip to Oxbow Park. We had a picnic.
Reminder that book orders are due on Friday, October 15th.

Our Spelling test is on Monday, October 18th.

Today's Assignments for 2nd Grade

Today our class studied  about Japan.  The Land of the Rising Sun.  We talked about directions east and west. Japan is located in the east and they see the sun rise earliest.

Ask your child at home tonight to tell you an important fact about Japan.
